Description: Similar to other Crinia species displaying highly variable skin colour and patterns. An unique characteristic is that it lacks an external ear.
Male size: 16-22 mm
Female size: 19-25 mm
Breeding: Spawn is laid under rocks along the creek's edge. The tadpoles are adapted to living in fast flowing streams
SA Distribution: The froglet is endemic to South Australia and is restricted to the Flinders and Gammon Ranges.
Habitat: Found beneath rocks and stones on the edge of creeks.
Call: Call is a soft Kra-a-a-a-ack, barely audible.
